Acetal (POM-C)
Acetal (POM-C) is a semi-crystalline thermoplastic known for its excellent dimensional stability, low friction, and high mechanical strength. It offers superior toughness and is easier to machine compared to many other plastics. Ideal for precision components requiring tight tolerances, Acetal outperforms materials like Nylon due to its extremely low moisture absorption making it a reliable choice for submerged or high-humidity environments. Its mechanical properties remain stable even in harsh or wet conditions. Additionally, Acetal's strong chemical resistance makes it well-suited for use in corrosive environments. We specialize in machining Acetal components with high efficiency and precision.

Fiberflon PTFE Coated Belts – Tracking & Guiding Systems
A reliable guiding system is crucial for most PTFE-coated belts. This can be achieved through external guiding systems or by integrating components into the belt construction, such as metal studs, PTFE pins, or eyelets. External electrical or mechanical systems are generally preferred, as they are compatible with all belt widths and help extend belt life by preventing edge tracking damage. To optimize belt life, it’s important to run the belt at low tensions, use only flat rollers, ensure proper roller alignment, and incorporate automatic guiding systems.
Food & Meat Applications
B Plastics supplies a comprehensive range of products tailored for the meat and food industry, including FDA-approved materials, BenchTop and conveyor chains, replacement parts, Conveyor Corner Tracks, and PTFE belting. We also offer specialized FDA-compliant materials like Metal Detectable plastics (Blue Acetal), designed to enhance food safety by minimizing contamination risks during production.
Poly Acetal is particularly ideal for use in food processing environments due to its non-porous, dense polymer structure, which resists bacterial absorption and moisture—making it a hygienic and reliable choice.
We also specialize in the reverse engineering and manufacturing of OEM components. Commonly reproduced parts include sprockets, wear strips, conveyor curves, and various custom materials.
With deep technical knowledge of the manufacturing process, B Plastics provides complete engineering support—from initial concept through to final production—ensuring efficient, safe, and cost-effective solutions for the food and meat industry.
HDPE (High Density Polyethylene)
HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) is a versatile thermoplastic widely known as polythene, used in applications ranging from household appliances, Marine and Construction. It offers excellent chemical and corrosion resistance, even at low temperatures, and is FDA-approved for direct food contact.
With a high strength-to-density ratio, HDPE delivers superior tensile strength compared to LDPE. It is easy to fabricate, lightweight, and cost-effective—making it a popular choice across various industrial applications. Additionally, it resists many solvents and features excellent sliding properties.
Black HDPE is specially formulated for enhanced UV resistance, making it ideal for outdoor use.
